I chose Alpine Dental based on the reviews I saw on Yelp as well as Dr. Shane's training at Tufts University Dental School! Being from Boston, Dentist from Tufts University are pretty much the ones you want to go to! Well anyways, with all the moving I have done in the past few years, seeing a dentist regularly has been nearly impossible! During my first visit ,I was pretty much blown away by the friendliness of the staff and Dr. Shane himself! Also, this office is super modern and clean with all the technology gadgets you can imagine! First visit, Dr. Shane's assistant greeted me, nice fella, took my Xrays and led me to my room. The room has a flat panel TV in the corner so I was able to finish watching my Boston Celtics! So Dr. Shane came in, went over my history and did my cleaning and exam. He then clearly and thoroughly explained to me what he saw when he was during my cleaning bleeding gums and showed me my cavities on the digital xrays. Now I cannot say any of those things surprised me but it was just nice to hear a dentist take the time to explain it clearly to me! Now I am used to going to offices where I get a cleaning from a Dental cleaner and at the end the Dentist jumps in for like 3 seconds and pretends to know me and tells me I have all sorts of problems! I frankly felt like the Dental teeth Cleaner was my dentist! It's refreshing to be in an office where the Doctor actually takes as much time to explain things as Dr. Shane does! I Proceeded to have a Deep Scaling, 3 fillingsthey are white woohoo! and a crown done by Dr. Shane. And I can say everything feels great and my gums don't bleed anymore! That's about it, I highly recommend this office!
