Review content:
My husband and I were in Ogunquit this last week for our 20th anniversary. We were having the most wonderful, romantic week. When we went into this shop, my husband was having fun picking out about 20 dresses for me to try on. I swear if I found 10 I wanted that fit me he would have bought all ten. Not something he usually does. We settled on three. Apparently, a woman there took exception to the fact that he was near the dressing room handing me clothes. (this lady and I were the only two customers in the store). My husband got the distinct impression that he was not wanted in the store so we finished up and he went and paid while I got dressed. The two women working in the store (this was on Thursda, 7/12, didn't realize I was still in the dressing room and were quite surprised to see me after I overheard them talking in derogatory terms about my husband and I. Now, I would think a boutique would want a husband there ready to shell out $250 and encouraging me to spend more. This put a damper on the rest of our vacation, as we were reminded every time we walked by. I won't go back and have already mentioned this experience to my friends that were staying near there too. I am supposed to go back to Ogunquit in August, and will not return to this shop because of this experience.
