I went to this office thinking that I would be seeing another dentist. Once I got there it was told to me that this dentist that I thought I was making an appointment to see was no longer there - as a matter of fact this dentist had not been there for over 3 years! I was told by the hygienist that I needed full mouth deep cleaning because I had periodontal disease. I questioned this because my teeth did not bleed when I flossed or brushed. I called the Board of Dentistry and they told me that I would need full mouth x-rays for this to be determined and a full periodontal chart. Neither were done. As a matter of fact the dentist in YellowPages.com said that I refused this procedure, which was an outright lie. She also said "maybe I did not even know that a perio chart was being done". How crazy is that? I went to another dentist who told me that I did not need this procedure and then I followed up with a periodontist who also said that not only did I not have periodontal disease, but that I also did not have gingivitis! How many other people has this dentist scammed? The Board of Dentistry be the ultimate ones to make a conclusion regarding this dishonest dentist. I have had to put 1 star even though this dentist is dishonest.
