Dr. McNeff, while friendly and caring, comes across as aloof and unprofessional. In our year of taking our puppy to her, she forgot to prescribe heart worm medication to him. He is our first dog, and we were under the impression that the heart worm meds were combined with his flea meds. When we realized this mistake, she blamed it on us for not telling her he was not on it, but we reminded her that she was the only vet our dog had ever seen, at which point she looked through the charts and realized that indeed, she had failed to prescribe this med to him. Furthermore, we had made an appointment with her to only find out that she was out of the office that day and nobody had informed us.
