Businiess name:  Pirates Park

Review content:
I recently took my 2 children to Pirate's Park to play mini golf and use the batting cages. The mini golf course was not well maintained and we had to get new balls several times because the holes the balls dropped down into were clogged. The greens were dirty and weeds galore. The batting cages were fine. When the kids were through we decided to do the bounce houses. There were a total of 4 kids in the bounce house area having what seemed to me a great time. The owner had come in and scolded the children for bouncing down the slide instead on going down completely on their bottoms. I thought wow that is strict but okay. The other parent in the area was watching his children as was I and didn't really see a problem. He then continued to berate my son right in front of me. Now he is 10 years old with a disability and is pretty shy as well. I stepped in front of this man and asked him to address any problems he had with me the parent and not my child with a disability. He then proceeded to yell at my son and wanted him to read the warning sign on the side of the bounce house. I explained to him that he has a difficult time with reading and that would not be necessary. I told the kids that we would be going. The man walked away only to return. He had the audacity to tell me how rude I was to interrupt his scolding of my child and what was I going to do when he is 16 years old and Mommy isn't there to save him! He told me I had made a mistake. I explained to this awful man that the mistake was his in telling me how to raise my child. The simple fact is this facility does not have the capacity to deal with children who are just being kids and especially those with a disability. The owner needs to just simply ask the individuals to leave and not have the audacity to get personal!
