Where do I start?
01JUN 5:30pm APPT
It was a very rainy day and this is the day that all the tornados were around. I purchased a Groupon (shampoo, cut, style) for my best friend from out of town (Houston) to get her hair done and get pampered for our girls night that evening. We rushed over from the aquarium to be sure to make it in time so we showed up at 5:00PM sharp. 30 minutes early we knew that we were going to wait, which is fine.
The front desk girl at the time forgot her name checked us in and came back to tell us ,"you know your appointment is at 5:30pm right? Because Rachel is still working on her client and is finishing up" ...yes. We know.
5:20, 5:30 comes around, 5:40, 5:50...now we're irritated! Yes, we show up early but our appt was at 5:30pm! We finally approached the front desk (Leah) at 6:00pm stating that we were going to leave. I asked to speak to the owner and she said he left for the day. So she asked if I wanted to leave a message. I left a phone number and was told he would call me tomorrow. He didn't. She said she was sorry and that we could try to reschedule. I told her already that my bf was from out of town...not just a town in MD but from HOUSTON, TX. She is not going to be here. I even tried to call again a few days later and she picked up again and said that he had just left for the day...
What pisses me off is that although your new client is there early you can at least say something...which the stylist Rachel didn't. I would understand a bit more if she maybe came around 525pm saying and introducing herself, "I'm sorry I'm running a little behind but I'm your stylist Rachel and if there's anything I can do while you wait please let me or our team know." Nobody had the nerve to say anything while we waited a whole hour...and then waited a whole hour again in traffic to get back home...and had to push back our dinner reservations.
This is truly disappointing because I thought I maybe found my go-to hair salon since I'm stationed here and have been here for 2 years a
