picked out 4 hemlocks with my landscaper, who uses Landex exclusively. They were over 13 feet tall when purchased. Have to say it was either him or the quality of bushes, but 2 out of 4 died; same soil, same conditions, same planting method. So who is at fault? Expensive project and now need to replace them. This was not my first disappointing venture with Landex products, have had 6 Cypress bushes dry up within a couple months of planting. On a separate note, when I built my house, I planted, myself, over 30 assorted bushes and a maple tree in various stages, AND they are growing healthy in same conditions. My nursery of choice: K-Mart and Flowertime (rermember them?) They stood behind their products.
