I have been going to Gaylon for about 20 years. He's a born mechanic, "I can fix anything that flies, floats or rolls" he says, and he is right. His crew have been with him for years and are all expert mechanics. We had a 1983 Mercedes 300TD wagon that had a suspension problem that Gaylon said would require a part from Germany and probably cost about $500. He said he might be able to do something cheaper. He squatted down behind the car and reached up under the bumper and did some kind of magic for about two minutes. The car was fixed! And he didn't charge me for it. He has no problem charging for work either, and I have always found his prices fair and his work perfect. You might find a cheaper mechanic, but you won't find a better one and I doubt you can find one who gives you better value than Gaylon. He will never tell you that you need something you don't.
