Review content:
I’ve been a client with Cary Healthcare Associates for about 2 years. My primary care doctor there is Ken Lake, a physician’s assistant. He was recommended by a friend, and I would in turn recommend him to everyone. He took almost an entire hour to get to know my husband and I at our first appointment. He addressed everything, from physical to mental wellbeing. He took a lot of time to listen to us, which is a big change from many other doctors. Ken used to be a PA in the Army and now he is in practice here in Cary and often has “P.A.’s in training” tagging along with him. If I were a PA intern, I would want him to be my trainer! He has never made me feel uncomfortable and doesn’t hesitate to refer me to a specialist if I need one. They have someone right in-house that will help you make any referral appointments. The only drawback is that he doesn’t work long hours, so you may be seen by someone else (all very competent and nice) if you need an appointment outside of his regular hours.
