Review content:
Sadly the Sportt's Bar and Grill is now closed (2008). I first started going to Sportt's when I was in college. It was one of the few places in Austin where you could get more than Bud Light on tap in the 90s and play Buzztime (nee NTN) Trivia. The clientele changed over the past few years and so did the overall quality of the food and the bar itself. Regardless I will miss this place and putting my name in the Sumo Burger book. Although no longer eating Sumo burgers will add years to my life.
I believe a couple from Owatonna took over the place and changed the name to something silly (although the name escapes me at the moment); however I heard the food was horrible and to no surprise it has also closed.
