Businiess name:  Elmer's Country Store
Review by:  JEN B.
Review content:
THIS IS THE ONLY STORE IN THE TOWN OF UPPER SADDLE RIVER. IT'S GRANDFATHERED IN AND HAS BEEN AROUND FOR OVER 100 YEARS. THIS STORE HAS TRUE OLD TIME CHARM. THE STORE LOOKS LIKE AN OLD GENERAL STORE..AND IT KIND OF IS. ELMERS CARRIES ALL THE LOCAL NEWSPAPERS, FOOD SUCH AS BREAD, MILK, CANDY, CIGARRETTES ETC.. LOTS OF SADDLE RIVER LOCALS HANG OUT HERE TO SHARE GOOD CONVERSATION AND WATCH CNBC ON THE TELEVISION THEY HAVE IN THE STORE. THE PRICES HERE ARE FAIR. ELMERS IS LIKE A 7-11 OR A KRAUSERS..BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE THAT MASS MARKET FEEL TO IT. WHEN YOU ENTER ELMERS YOU TRUELY FEEL LIKE YOU'VE BEEN MOVED BACK 100 YEARS IN TIME..AND HAVE ENTERED AN 1800'S GENERAL STORE RIGHT OUT OF LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRARIE. THIS STORE IS AN OLDIE BUT GOODY!!!
