Alan Dulin, M.D. is the newest addition to The American Institute of Plastic Surger Center in Plano. Serving all of the Dallas Metroplex He completed his undergraduate degree at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where he was named to the Dean's List and was awarded the President's Scholarship for his academic achievements.
Dr. Dulin attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he was awarded the Barton Scholarship in his first year for outstanding academic performance. He was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, graduating in the top ten percent of his class.
Dr. Dulin trained in General Surgery at the University Hospital and Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. During this time, he had extended training in burn treatment and Plastic Surgery. Following this, he accepted a Plastic Surgery residency position at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas, under the direction of the former President of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. During his training, he scored highest in the nation on the annual Plastic Surgery In-service Examination. He completed an additional year as chief resident in Plastic Surgery with expanded clinical duties.
Dr. Dulin has special interest in breast and body contouring. He has attended numerous courses throughout the nation on the latest techniques. His extended training in general plastics has afforded him the ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of disorders, including hand surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and all the reconstructive techniques of modern plastic surgery.
