The first time I took my car here it seemed OK. After having almost $300.00 worth of work, the alignment was still out. So I took it back, leaving it there, telling Don Birdwell I would be back the next day. I left him my numbers so he could call me.||[]||[]After 2 days, no call, I went to pick it up, and was told they could not do the alignment because I needed a power steering pump. Don had not bothered to call and inform me. I left my car on Thursday, it is now Saturday, and they close in a couple of hours. I have no reason||[]||[]"There was not enough POWER in the power steering for us to even see if the alignment was good." I had noticed nothing wrong with the power steering, but had no reason to doubt him, and authorized the $200 job. I'm not a mechanic, but this made no sense, and in fact, they DID, FINALLY do the alignment without first changing the pump. ||[]||[]I had not noticed any problem with the power steering but still had no reason not to believe him, so authorized the $200.00 work. Even though the part was delivered before I left the shop, they were closing at 2:00pm on a Saturday. After leaving the car with them for 2 days, getting no calls they wanted me to come back on Monday to have the pump installed. They wasted my time and I will not be back. Any garage not willing to stay open past 2:00 on a Saturday doesn't want my business anyway.
