Review content:
So I've went to the Soho spa in New Haven for brazillian bikini waxing. My experience there was an utter nightmare. The person used wax that was not hot enough and needless to say, this was the most painful waxing experience I have ever had (it was even painful to walk the next day!). To top this off, I had a ton of broken and residual hairs and my skin became discolored (darker). I spoke to the manager and she said she was sorry, but the person had 10 years experience and that I could come back in a few days and get the residual hairs waxed. My touch up person (different from the first)was very nice, but tweezed a few of the remaining hairs because it was too early to wax again. I got my second full brazillian from the touch up person. Although she was nice, I again left with many small residual and broken hairs. Granted this was only my 7th brazillian, the Soho spa is the only place I have left where my skin didn't feel and look smooth. Maybe the waxist have difficulty seeing hairs because the room lights are so dim? What ever the case is, this is not the place to go for waxing! The Soho spa on Walley Ave or the Waxing Spot in Westport do phenominal jobs. Both places I have left satisfied with the results, especially since they last!
