We had gone there once before for something minor and everything was fine so we went there again when our truck needed some major repairs. It needed a new master cylinder and brakes and we were quoted around $700. After a couple days they called to say that a brake line needed to be replaced as well and some other thing (caliper?) and it was an additional $200 (bringing it to $900). We OK'd the work and then didn't hear from them. We gave them a couple days and then started calling them. They kept saying there were parts on order, they were working on it, etc. They never called us to tell us what was going on - we were always bugging them. Finally after a week they told us that they had already tried two rebuilt master cylinders and couldn't get them to work and that they would need to order a brand new one and difference in price was around $75. Finally after they had the truck for MORE THAN 2 WEEKS they said we could pick it up and we owed $1,600 - $600 more than we had approved!!!! They basically held our truck hostage and threatened to not let us have it unless we paid - After much arguing they agreed to "discount" our bill to just under $1,500... and that was only because we realized that they charged us for 2 master cylinders!! Unbelievable. Even after that they left a line hanging and had tightened a brake line so tight that the brake was constantly engaged and we had to take it to another repair shop to have it repaired! It is now 6 months since this disaster and the brakes on the truck have failed. We took it to them and said to fix it and we expected to not have to pay a dime... they had the nerve to give us attitude and claim that it could be "anything" and might not have been something they worked on originally. The owner actually told my husband that WE had a horrible attitude and with his bad attitude he "wouldn't be able to look at our truck anytime soon". After that we took it to another place. I don't even trust them to do the repair.
