Concord Pharmacy is not one of your impersonal chain drugstores that fills your prescriptions, does 1-hour photo developing and carries more magazines than they have Band-Aids. Nor is it like the pharmacy in your local SuperFresh or ACME market.
Step inside the newly redesigned store and you'll be greeted warmly by whoever is manning the cash register in front. If you need help finding something, they're eager to show you where it is. The pharmacist takes an interest in every prescription he fills and will answer any questions you have thoroughly and with patience. If there's a problem with your insurance, he'll work with your doctor to make sure that you get the right medicine while meeting your insurance's requirements.
The pharmacy also carries a wide variety of first aid products including a good assortment of ointments, bandages and splints. If you need a cold beverage, there are two refrigerators of cold drinks near the checkout, much of which is sports drinks, green tea iced teas and bottled water. They carry a limited number of snacks and candies as well as the requesite lottery tickets and cigarettes.
