Review content:
I came in yesterday to use gift certificates that I had received from coworkers this last Christmas. When I had received them, I stashed them away to use this spring when the weather got warmer. I was never told that one expired before the other. I wanted to get a pedicure when I would be wearing sandals. My time with your employee, Mindy Chandler, was wonderful and she did a fantastic job. So when I went to use the gift certificates, I was very disappointed when I was told that one had expired. Normally, gift certificates are good for one year. I felt it was very rude and deceiving. I am a local and I really want to come back to have my nails done, etc. with Mindy. I also wanted to make sure I gave Mindy a decent tip as I have kids who also work in the service industry in Galena and I know how hard it is to "make it" in this town without decent tips. So my Christmas gift, which was for $100.00, cost me $70.00. I felt this was very unfair. I didn't feel I was treated very well by anyone other than Mindy, who did my spa treatment.
