I have mixed feelings about this practice. The OBs all seem very competent, and I felt I was always in good hands. I really didn't like their nurse practitioner very much. As a patient at this clinic, you need to see this nurse practitioner a couple of times. I asked the nurse practitioner how often episiotomies were performed (as you get whatever doc is on call when you give birth after regular office hours), and it seemed she didn't like that question. Her response was that she didn't know and that it really wasn't that important, because episiotomies aren't routine. She didn't seem to want to reassure me or find out the answer. I just didn't feel comfortable with her. Go ahead and check it out and make your own decision.
