It is really uncomfortable and scary when your novacaine wears off before the dental work begins. This is part of the reason why I waited until I couldn't stand the normal pain to call and be seen. I got to the point of losing part of my infected tooth and new level of pain before I would make an appointment. Unfortunately it came at a terribly time just before Christmas and after office hours. I apologize for that. I am sorry to have had to call Dr. Marzonie away from his family and holiday plans for even the short time I did. I was haunted by my last root canal and the fact that I could not get completely numb. It really was a harrowing experience. I do not blame anyone but myself. But it is still scary no matter how is responsible.
