Businiess name:  The Abbey Garden Tea Room
Review by:  jennifer b.
Review content:
This is two different things in one...the tea room, where you can get tea and pastries and the painting room where you can paint bisque pieces to be glazed and fired. I have not tried the tea room, though I have tried to order from the tea room. I have painted here and when we tried to order drinks for while we were painting we were told that we couldn't eat or drink while we were painting. We didn't have any kids with us so I'm not sure why we couldn't drink while we painted. You would think that it would only benefit them if they were to allow it...not only would we be buying their food and drinks, but we might stay longer and paint more than one piece. So if you come to paint, be sure you eat and drink before starting. This painting room feels more upscale, like artists would come here to paint. It doesn't feel like a place that I could take my neice and be silly and paint fun pieces. The prices were decent and I would go here again, but I wouldn't bring any kids along because I don't think they could go very long sitting in a place that serves food and drink and not be able to get anything.
