On Mother's day I went to buy a fridge early evening. Within minutes, I knew which fridge I wanted but it took at least 20 minutes of waiting to even purchase the merchandise. The sales associated called the manager 3x on the walk talkie and 2x on the intercom to get the manager to approve the sale. When the manager arrived, he did not even apologize for the wait and asked the sales associated for a cigeratte before approving the sale.
When my fridge was finally delivered, there was a huge dent on the top of the fridge. They encouraged me to do an exchange so they brought up the damage fridge. In the process, they scratched my walls.
Its been two weeks since I have heard from them, I have called and emailed several times but no one seems to know what to do. The store manager keeps telling me Delivery will give me a refund and Delivery keeps telling me the store manager has to deal with this. I emailed the website 3x now b/c its like hell getting through to anyone on the phone.
This was my first major appliance and I thought Sears was the place to go...NO WAY. I will not buy a appliance at Sears again. HomeDepot offers similar warrenties and responses to customers, unlike Sears!
