Review content:
The first time I visited this museum, I could not believe we were this lucky to have this in little New Hampshire! Yes, it is small compared to city museums, but it is a treasure. Gorgeous paintings and sculptures by such well-known artists as Monet and Rodin, are not seen every day. It is also housed in a gorgeous building. Take the kids on Saturdays, when admission is free, to give them an early appreciation for the arts. We also held our preschooler's birthday party here, which included a preschooler's museum tour, and an art project in the nearby art center. Check the website for more information, many people are not aware they do birthday parties and many, many other classes and sessions for kids and adults. I believe that part of the museum is also available for special event rental.
