Admittedly I am not a big sandwich eater. Sub shops and sandwich shops don't usually attract me. Several of my co-workers go to Potbelly at least a couple times a week. That intrigued me to go. Basically, all of their sanwiches are toasted. You select the bread you want, the cheese, the type of sandwich, the fixings you want and they make it to order. Their bread is excellent. I ordered the "skinny" chicken salad. That means they split the bread in half, since I am not a big bread person. The chicken salad was a little bland, but still good. I just made sure to add lots of fixings to my sandwich. I'm still not a big sandwich fan, but I would definitely go there again!
