Review content:
I started with Dr. Smith as one of his first TMJ patients in 1985. I had every terrible symptom from headaches, eating problems, swallowing, ringing of the ears, that is associated with TMJ. After 10 months of plastic top and bottom mouth pieces to realign my jaw bones, followed with 3.5 years of braces in my mouth, new crowns and some laminates, was my mouth restored in its proper position and alignment. That was 15 years ago now and my quality of life came back. My own regime of healthy foods, no soda pop, and low sugar and Nikken magnets, has this journey worked. No more grinding of the teeth because I sleep on a magnet pillow to relieve the muscles and keep them from the desire to tighten up. I do really well. Lips together, teeth apart....always, Irene
