Review content:
Being the openly acceptable music fanatic that I am, it's not surprising for me to attend the Showdown for Fall Frenzy event at The Marquee Theatre (Taking place back in September of this year as a battle to open for the Fall Frenzy Concert).Which purely was based around the alternative genre of music. Even if it means giving up that quarter tank of gas at which I live by to transfer successfully to and from my college courses on a daily basis, as well as being a first time attendee looking to cheer on a rising local favorite, "Half Cup Soda Pop." As we were among the first people in the split lines, yes split, males forming one as females the other, the security guards proceeded to waiting the last 5 minutes until actually letting people in. However the parking lot began to fill full of teen spirited adults segregating in obvious anticipation for their desired band of choice. As the 5 minutes had vanished in thin air, the security began patting down and letting people enter one at a time, which was quick and easy for those that weren't carrying any suspicious items of choice. Also very cheap, $13 to be exact as the admission fee. Once entering the theatre for the first time, I had immediately noticed how petite the entire place was. Not small enough for a widely popular artist to dwell on serenading it's viewers, yet big enough to breathe and walk around; being the lower level that is. They were not seating in the upper level, but from the looks of it, it was just as comfy and roomy as the lower level. Along the lines of roominess; a hint for the summer time; don't dress down in those attractive tank tops men, and ladies keep those short shorts long, due to the theatre containing an overwhelming amount of fans breezing in all directions. Now being a man of my size and having the pit less metabolism that I do, my insights focused to discover first hand if a snack bar lie some inches away from the actual bar in the lobby of the venue. However, being that the place is kept tidy and only full of possible buzzed spills of beer, they don't have any available food for you to slightly maintain your appetite. Coming prepared with a meal in that belly or walking a few miles to the nearest corner store would be your best bet if you find yourself in need of food. Yet walking around the lobby after discovering this monstrosity, I indeed indentified that there are games, beer, and a backyard style location for smokers and subdivisions of all kinds of people to reminisce about the venue or whatever it is that accompanies them. Which completely brings the atmosphere in a full circle of diversity, with adults of all ages and friends of all races having their needs of drinks, smoking, and just simply hanging out while their band of choice or not, is just a room away blasting your face back with familiar tunes from the tightly compacted circular stage at which the Marquee Theatre contains. Aside from my overwhelming experience of listening to the catchy local bands perform all night long, cheering on Half Cup Soda Pop, and comparing the overall stage performances of each particular band in between sets with my companion, I greatly enjoyed the complete atmosphere of the Marquee Theatre. Being that it contains a youthful energy diverging from all influential genres of music, to the positive work ethic that the employees spread around, and even to the vast subcultures and groupings of area's to relax that it contains. Needless to say, I am greatly appreciative of what the Marquee Theatre has created and deeply encourage everybody to catch a show here; preferable or not to your taste in music; just to see how great they work with you. Equally I encourage your positive/negative feedback on your experiences shared there, and give my gratitude towards those who've taken the time to thoroughly read my review.
