Review content:
Living five minutes from Cherry's Sunset Diner (or the Sunset Diner as we've always called it) means I've been there many times since I've been five years old. Recently, however, they upgraded their menu and now offer many delicious selections at a reasonable price.
Last week when meeting my parents at the Sunset for dinner, we just wanted sandwiches - and for a low bill of only 25 dollars we each had a drink, a sandwich (hot) and I asked for no fries and paid extra for a salad instead. (Opting for the healthier choice!) It was delicious, and the quiet country atmosphere makes you feel at home. Not only that, but they always have daily specials that are quite tasty and that you can get a very reasonable price.
For instance when I recently went, they had an all-you-can-eat Sour Kraut and Pork dinner for only 8.95. That included soup or salad and another vegetable. Rather than traveling to a major nearby city, such as Stroudsburg or Allentown, and spending a small fortune on something similar that is just portioned; here you get what you pay for without driving the added miles. Not only that, but you can't beat the friendly service.
And if you're a regular - you can be sure they'll remember you.
