Review content:
I wanted to like this place -- the staff seemed nice enough, and the decor was interesting -- but the food ultimately just wasn't very interesting. And it wasn't for a lack of dishes, either. We had calamari as an appetizer and ordered two pasta dishes, but they brought out two complimentary appetizers (I assume everyone gets these) and sent us home with pizzelles. Of the free appetizers, (focaccia with butternut squash butter and some cold garbanzo dish), only the bread and butter were tasty, although not as interesting as the name suggested. The lamb ragout I had was okay, but neither fine Italian nor down-home hearty fare. The noodles were literally unevenly cooked. My wife's pasta also suffered, coming out so mushy we had to send it back (it was much better the second time, though). I'd like to think we found them on a bad night, but it'll be a while before we feel up to giving them a second chance.
Pros: Lots of complimentary dishes
Cons: Surprisingly off pasta texture, so-so dishes
