I went to Dr Godel about 5 years ago on the recommendation of a friend. All was well until I needed a crown. He prepared the tooth and put the crown on and then said he wasn't happy with it, that he was going to have to redo it but instead he ground it down and said it should be OK. Approx. 4 years later I mentioned to him that it was sentitive and he said I probably needed a root canal and that since it had been 4 years and shrugged his shoulders like there was nothing he could do to help me but charge me again to replace it.. So I returned to my previous dentist, who had put another crown on with great results, and after x-rays he said I did not need a root canal but that the crown was not tight fitting near the gum so bacteria etc. could get in and cause problems. He is replacing it and I will not return to Dr Godel.
