Review content:
I've been taking my pets to Dr. Saunders since soon after he first opened his office. In fact, I remember when he was writing an article for our local newspaper and his practice was mobile. I was his 35th client and have NEVER regretted choosing him. We rescue stray animals and foster cats and dogs for the Humane Society so we deal with Dr. Saunders a lot. When our beloved Bailey was extremely ill two years ago, another local vet (who was on call that night) said, "Well, he'll either be dead or alive in a week." Dr. Saunders, however, knew Bailey had pneumonia as soon as he saw him and started treatment immediately. He also sat up with Bailey the first two nights he was hospitalized. Due to Dr. Saunders' dedication, we were able to spend an extra month with our Bailey. In my opinion, Dr. Saunders is simply the BEST, most knowledgeable, most caring veterinarian in Highlands County (even if he is a little expensive).
