I've had the pleasure of Suppenkuche's delightful food and beer and decor several times over the past few years but recent visits have been a disappointment. The noise level requires yelling (has it really always been that noisy?) and the service is lackluster, unprofessional and disorganized. On my most recent visit, my name and party size was recorded and I was told it would be 30 minutes. After an hour, two parties of the same size who arrived after us were seated before us. We were ignored by the hostess despite efforts to get her attention. The host offered us "a table in just a few minutes" after more than an hour when we were on our way out of the restaurant. Go to Walzwerk, go to Frjtz Fries (practically next door to Suppenkuche).
Pros: yummy food, good neighbor, fantastic beer
