Businiess name:  Carlson Accounting

Review content:
Bill Carlson started his accounting career in 1986 after graduating from Webber College in Babson Park, FL with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. After completing college Bill received the Enrolled Agent designation from the Internal Revenue Service. Before going back to school Bill owned and operated a local auto parts and general hardware store. This background gave him first hand knowledge of how small businesses operate and the challenges they face. In 1996, Jeff Carlson, Bill's younger son, joined the firm as a staff accountant. Jeff quickly integrated into this family operated business by adding his financial and management consulting expertise to their knowledge base. Bill was excited to have his son work with him and sold the practice to Jeff so that he could spend more time at the beach. In 2000 Jeff purchased all of the assets and clients of Phillip W. Statler, Inc. Since then Carlson Accounting has grown to be one of the premier accounting and tax services providers in the region. They have clients from Crystal River to Clewiston. Today the Firm is owned and operated by Jeff Carlson, CPA and CEO, who continues to serve clients with fast, friendly service. But don't worry; Bill is still around and working as hard as ever.
