A new store has opened on Plainfield NE, right next door to Stonesthrow Furniture. They sell all kinds of window treatments from blinds to shades to custom made coverings that are just plain cool! They are locally owned and really put extra effort into customer satisfaction. Also, and here comes the twist, they have an employee named Kay, who has trained in New York City with Laurie Ward. So, not only does she do window treatments, she will also give you great tips on what to do in your house to update it etc. Her recommendations are always based on what YOU want and how much YOU can afford. She is a pro and does not "push anything on you". She always makes you feel comfortable....as do all the people who work here. Kay knows all the latest trends, but also, is THE most knowledgeable in this West Michigan area of incorporating what you already own with the new. Then there is Alison knows EVERYTHING you would EVER want to know about fabrics and window treatments. It is such an advantage to go into a store and actually deal with someone who has tons of samples to show you and understands what would work where in your home. She is organized, professional, and has a wonderful talent for making awesome recommendations based on your needs. Put this store, "Views" on your "must see" list and also pop into the furniture store next door. You will find items that you see at Pottery Barn or Crate and Barrel, but for a lot less!!!
