Tempting looking high end audio products in the window, however the service inside is the worst I have ever come across in a "audiophile" store. I would actually recommend you visit this shop for the experience, the rudeness from the "oompa-loompas" working there would actually be fun if you were in the mood. The place is also surprisingly quite a dive (reminiscent of a discount shoe store in a forgotten shopping mal. I assume they must be polite to someone or they would never sell anything, perhaps they pucker up if they have seen you on TV? I am a frequent visitor to New York and I can only hope this is not the norm for this type of store, perhaps I am spoilt being used to dealing with friendly staff in the UK. I also find New Yorkers to be amongst the most polite and pleasant people I have met anywhere so I know this behaviour is not the norm. A living breathing advertisement for mailorder!
