I went to this salon yesterday for the first time since I had a coupon from the Entertainment Guide. I got a cut, color and pedicure. The pedicure chair was broken as the massaging mechanism would make a loud banging noise as it poked my back. Not to mention it's the most expensive pedicure in town at $45!! The haircut was ok but nothing to brag about. The color was the worst I have ever gotten from a salon. I asked for a reddish auburn color and ended up with orange roots and brownish red ends. It was uneven all throughout and looked terrible. I understand that hair dye is not a perfect science, but the stylist didn't even acknowlege that the color was uneven. She told me she would use a toner to get it the color I wanted, but I didn't have time and told her I would come back for the toner and would not be paying for the service until it was corrected. The owner's husband wanted me to pay for it all upfront, told me it looked fine, and stated that I could not use the coupon since I wasn't paying all at once!! After several minutes, I told him I would pay for the overly priced pedicure and the haircut, using the coupon, or would not pay anything and speak to his wife via phone. Needless to say, he took my money. However, I will pay someshere else for corrective color. If the stylist didn't even notice how horrible it came out, I have no confidence that she will be able to correct it. BTW, this is the first time in my life I refused to pay for hair color. Pros: clean Cons: unskilled stylist, bad customer service, broken massage chair
