Businiess name:  Santa Barbara Italian Cafe

Review content:
I've been coming to this restaurant for years. For Italian food, it is the best! It is located in a strip shopping center, so parking is always available. The dining area is small, but the ambiance is nice. They always have flowers on the table and candles/oil lamps. I love going there on a date. It is romantic at night. Because the setting is intimate, service is superb. I've never had to wait long for my order to come out. The cook is Mama, an import from Italy, who knows how to cook an authentic Italian dish. Her alfredo sauce is to die for. Their tomato basil soup is ten times better than a famous one at a French chain restaurant. The tiramisu is big enough for two people and will take your breath away. Bring a big appetite because the servings are enormous. I always take home leftovers. The only negative is that they don't have a liquor license so you can't order wine with your meal, but they do allow you to bring in your own bottle and will graciously uncork it and pour it into their chilled wine glasses. At my last visit, they offered me and my boyfriend a glass of sangria that they had mixed up and it was yummy, fresh fruit and all. They do have specials. If you are unsure, try them at lunchtime. The portions are a little smaller, as are the prices. You really can't go wrong, no matter what you order. I've never had a bad dish out of their kitchen. I highly recommend!
