Review content:
I was hoping for a good experience with the new owner, Taylor Walker, to fix a defective pair of boot liners purchased at Java Summit. The short version of my experience is this: He told me I needed to purchase an expensive pair of boots to make the liners work properly, which I did. He said he sent the liners back to the manufacturer for warranty service. This was a bald-faced lie. The manufacturer has told me that they have received nothing from Java Summit. Taylor will not return my calls. After two months of trying to resolve this informally, he has over $600 of my money for new boots, and my defective $200 liners are sitting somewhere in his shop, which prevents me from getting warranty service. I have generally found ski shop owners to provide wonderful customer service, but this kid lacks the responsibility and integrity to perform as a professional. Next step: legal action. My advice: Don't shop here unless you're willing to kiss your money goodbye.
