Businiess name:  Movies 8
Review by:  popcorn *.
Review content:
Cheaper than renting a DVD and scads less than a 1st run movie theatre – it’s the local cheapo theatre. Movies 8 has multiple screens and shows a variety of 2nd run flicks. They also have midnight movie times for when you want to stay out late. Show your student ID to receive a $.50 discount on the $1.50 admission price for evening shows or go on Tuesday night and see any movie for a discounted rate. Matinees are also $1. This used to be a great place with mostly college age people or families, but it is starting to be overrun with punk high school kids. At the last several shows we went to there were a couple of unsupervised teenagers running up and down the aisles yelling and the manager/ushers never came and ejected them (granted we didn’t leave to go get them) so we started going to the University Mall theatres which seems more family-oriented.
