The usual trip to San Francisco to go to my fave Aveda Salon took an unexpected twist when I was told about Hot Shots, an Aveda salon in Vacaville. After some checking around, I found out the stylists were required to keep up on their training in order to work for an Aveda Salon. This was the same exact training that the stylists in San Francisco and New York have and the Hot Shots staff even attend classes with the stylists in these other cities! I was even more exctied not to have to pay the $250 for a cut and color and walk out with the same services for only $90. I got a complimentary hand massage, herbal tea and friendly treatment. All this international glam and only 20 minutes from my home in Green Valley!
