Review content:
I was served a steak that could only be described as shoe leather. When I spoke to the server he asked me to cut into the middle to demonstrate that I was ignorant of "medium rare". Later he showed the steak to his floor manger to confirm my ignorance. Finally they sent out a steak that had only been seared briefly and was still cold in the middle. This time the manager came over to the table and stated "obviously we disagree on the definition of medium rare steak. This type of condescending attitude prevails here. By the way, the wine list is totally overpriced with nothing under $40. My companions found their dinners to be fair to good. Overall we rated this restaurant as overpriced and self impressed. You can do much better in Boston than Mistral. Pros: Great if you want to impress your client with your bountiful wallet Cons: Stuffy and condescending
