I stopped into the salon to look at the Madder Root shampoo and conditioner because I recently colored my hair red and wanted to keep it from fading. I was hesitating about buying the shampoo because it is available only in a 32 oz. size, and I don't know how long I'll keep the red hair color. The staff members working at the front desk were very helpful, and told me honestly that I really needed only the conditioner because I was using the Aveda Color Conserve shampoo, and the Madder Root conditioner alone would be enough to help maintain my red color. I was so grateful for their honesty - they could have pushed me to buy the shampoo also but they have never given me the "hard sell" on buying products. I've had only good experiences with this salon (and the Madder Root conditioner worked beautifully on my hair) - again I give them my highest recommendation!
