Review content:
during the great federal hvac give away, my ac compressor failed on a 1996 unit. i asked the owner if i shouldn't take advantage of the energy tax credits both state and federal and simply put in a new unit. he said it would be best to just replace the compressor and never gave us a quote with the tax credits available.
the following year they had to replace the fan motor and
the control panel adding insult to injury.
well, i thought i had a rebuilt machine and all would be well. little did i know that one year later the compressor
would fail again.
i did not call ben's back. the new company told me that it was more than likely that the install on the compressor was faulty and the unit should have been completely replaced........so i'm out big bucks........the only good news is that i did not have to deal with ben's again.
