I was referred to Michael Jay Berger by 2 other lawyers. As a former student of silver state helicopter (SSH) school, I had only 2 weeks of ground school & the loan company was already demanding the money they had paid to the school on my behalf (which was 1/3 of the total 18-month tuition). Since SSH had filed for bankruptcy, creditors quickly formed a long line to get paid (and students were at the end). I retained a local Arizona lawyer who previously sued SSH in another case. He referred me to a lawyer in Georgia, who then referred me to Michael Berger, saying, "When it comes to bankruptcy law, Michael Berger is THE MAN!" The Law Offices of Michael Berger dealt with me in a timely and very professional manner. I never felt that I was only a "fee" to them. They kept me informed about the case, through E-mails and notices on the website. They let me know what to do and when to do it. Michael Berger resolved my case in less than a year. The loan company forgave the loan, in exchange for assigning litigation rights to them. They also will remove the loan from my credit record. I can't thank Michael Berger and his staff enough for the immense relief that the resolution of this case has brought to me and my family.
