This place IS awesome. I brought my big man (Bruin) to Dr. Tabai ,as a puppy for the puppy package. They have great hours and were able to accommodate me AFTER work so I never had to take extra time off.
In addition to Bruin's puppy package I also had him neutered here. The cost was very reasonable.
The staff is warm and friendly. They even give you confirmation calls the day before your appointment!
Once, I found a tick (I know, BAD mommy!) on Bruin and although my step-dad was able to remove the tick, I took him to Dr. Tabai in case there was any of the tick remaining and because I was freaked out that he may have contracted lyme disease (paranoid, yes). They were able to take me as a walk-in. Dr. Tabai looked over him and confirmed that the entire tick was removed. She said he should be fine and recommended advantix (I had been using comfortis which does NOT prevent against anything other than flea eggs and fleas). When I left I had expected to pay an examination fee but they didn't charge me.. AWESOME!
