My husband and I had dinner here with a large group. We had 4 celiacs and when our waiter wanted the table to do the tasting menu, I explained in detail that four of us could not have any flour, wheat, soy sauce (contains wheat) or anything else that contain those ingredient and then I asked if that would be a problem. He said that there would have to be some substitutions made but we would be in good hands. What we got was WHEAT POISONING and had to pay 85, plus 20% tip each for the pleasure of it!!!!!!!! The tasting menu has around 12 items on it and we could only eat four. The waiter would tell us a dish was safe only to find out is wasn't after we had eaten some. We had to complain multiple times to get any sort or substitutions other than plain steamed vegetables, even then they were baffled on what to serve us. They seemed uneducated in how to deal with any sort of food allergy, but were hell bent on not letting us out of the 85 dollars a piece for the menu. I would have been happy to just order from the a la carte menu, but the waiter intentionally lead us to believe they could accommodate us to lock us into this menu and then just thought we would be happy with one quarter of the menu. We would have paid for our drinks and walked, but we were with a group and that wasn't an option. Beyond all of that the food was mediocre at best. If the only thing they can think of to serve a wheat free crowd is plain steamed vegetables (not even tossed with garlic and some oil) then that is just plain SAD and PATHETIC. Stay away is my advice, there are plenty of other restaurants in Miami.
