Closed temporarily, the General's Daughter has been taken over by Sondra Bernstein--who has amassed a small culinary empire in Sonoma with the girl & the fig, the fig cafe and her condiment products. She will reopen the restaurant soon with the new name Estate.
Cuisine is supposedly Mediterranean/slow food meets Wine Country.
