This is one of my favorite places in town to indulge myself. The staff are always so friendly, and they take great care of their customers, especially returning or frequent ones. I just had my hair cut and highlighted over the weekend with Jeannie, and my friends and family all said it was their favorite cut and color they've ever seen on me. Prior to that, their favorite was the LAST time Jeannie did my hair! As far as body treatments go, there are better places in town if you are looking for the true "day spa" experience, but their technicians are amazing. I am a self-proclaimed spa whore, so if I'm going to treat myself to something on vacation or have extra money, I will usually get a massage. And I have to honestly say that the best massage I've had anywhere in my life was the chakra balance massage given by Desiree. I think I actually had an out of body experience during it! Yeah, the prices are higher than most of us middle class slobs can afford, but it's worth it to me. Sure, I could get a cheaper cut and color at a Snip-in-the-box shop, but the overall experience is so much better at L'Essence. I can relax, have a glass of wine, and get into girlie mode. I have a massage, facial and pedi booked this weekend with my sister, and we just can't wait until our girls day!
