Review content:
PNC is so concerned w/customer service on the teller windows that they are neglecting customer service on the phone. Add to that they change their statement format and do not include anything in with the statement explaining what they changed. Two months in a row, our business ending balance was not our beginning balance the following month. When I called, the person answering the phone (obviously annoyed both times) could not access our account and help me. Last month the manager was "on vacation" and could not call me back. The assistant manager called me back and she accessed the account and we figured the problem out just fine-4 days later. This month after a long, idiotic conversation with a "business banker" who, when I asked to speak with the manager, told me, "she can't see anymore on your account than I can," transferred me to the manager who told me she could not access the account either (lie). I was told by the business banker that I would have to physically come into the bank with my hard copy statement and straighten out the problem. I am an Office Manager/Bookkeeper, and do not have time to make visits to a bank for something that was not our mistake. National City used to bend over backward to help their business customers-even make visits for anything we needed. PNC is a poor replacement. As soon as it is convenient, we are changing banks. I would not recommend
PNC to any new business or any business interested in changing banks.
