Review content:
Unfortunately this will be my last visit to Cucina Cucina in Issaquah. We used to love dining here but if tonight is any indication of how things are on any given night then I will be surprised if it remains open for much longer. The hostesses at the front looked like they were trying out to be hookers--totally inappropriate clothing for a family oriented restaurant. We were told we would have a 25 min. wait but it wasn't for lack of tables; the kitchen was woefully understaffed. When we were seated after a 10 min. wait we were surprised at how few people were dining. Few diners but lots of employees standing around with not much to do. It took awhile for our orders to arrive, but I have had to wait longer so wasn't too concerned, but the waitress with the most annoying voice and condescending attitude in the world thought she needed to make excuses for our food not being served. She mentioned the lack of staff in the kitchen and told us that some people had even had the nerve to walk out earlier. The coup de grace was the chef yelling at wait personnel standing too close to the kitchen area and blamed them for his messing up an order because there were so many standing around that he heard someone say marinara sauce so that was what he put on the pasta.
I would actually give them a minus number of stars it that were possible. Food is still good, though.
