Review content:
I was having a tough time finding a longboard skateboard anywhere in the Bay Area. Everywhere I went I found one or two decks, but no one seemed to have a real selection. I happened to pass Boardsports and saw at least a dozen in the window. I thought this place must have a decent selection. To my surprise they had at least 50-60 decks and completes displayed all over the store. Not only do they have a great selection, but a great demo fleet that I could skate around the neighborhood. I tested 3-4 boards before I finally found the perfect ride, an Arbor Bamboo Pintail. The staff actually knew what they where talking about and set me up with this sweet cruiser.
As I was waiting to pay I started looking at the selection they had in there online store. Well over 150 different longboards to choose from on their website at boardsportscom. Since my initial visit I have sent three friends to Boardsports to buy longboards and all have come back with similiar stories. Looks like the East Bay finally has a real place to shop for long skates.
Pros: Staff knowledge and experience
