Businiess name:  Ashkenaz Music and Dance Community Center

Review content:
Ashkenaz has the best dance floor of any music venue I've ever been too. Literally- it's a beatiful wooden floor that many many hours of community organizing and fundraising went into before it could be installed. No wonder that they have dance classes here in addition to their live music. Highly reccomended for very specific music nights. If you love austrian folk music- chances are there will be the world's finest traditional performers coming to town and they will be playing here. I don't suggest just showing up- check the schedule or you might get some very random (but passionate and skillfull) music. If you want to see some truely "berkeley in the 60s" moments I suggest Grateful dead nights. Pros: friendly, open-minded, the opposite of trendy, eclectic Cons: beer only, not cheap, tiny bathrooms
